Which is cheaper on energy bill a Projector or 42″ Led Lcd Tv?

I’am Looking at replacing my six year old Lcd 32 Vizio But I dont want to spend over 800 for a new TV. I was looking at a New Viewsonic 42″ Led tv Or Vizio Led Tv. But I also have a large Living room in my Apartment and I was thinking maybe a HD 3d Projector wouldn’t Be Bad Optoma Projecter HD66 Is what I Was Looking at. But My Nipsco Bill is about 140 a month and were on a tight budget so a tv or projector is a Tax time Item, And Were trying to Cut way down on a electric Bill Tv on 4-10 Hours.
Im Not Really interested in 3d that Much Viewsonic 42 tv uses 160 watts power when on, plus it about 680.00 New at Amazon. The Optoma Projector($640.00) Uses 230 Watts on But Its projects a nice bright picture about 120″ or bigger I have a Large Wall in my Living Room. Right now my 32″ is mounted up on the wall. I Just Want a Nice Big Picture when I close my Curtains and Use My Bluray Player, But I dont want to run the bill up.

LED is much cheaper to run than any other screen panel

Check out the Consumer Reports website.
The led TV’s are supposed to be more energy efficient of all the TV’s now.
A story I read about 3D TV’s says to wait until the technology is better and more movies and TV programs become more available.

Led would use less electricity. I do not recommended any of those bargain price tv which are not very good in quality or reliability. 3D HDTV are more expensive than the standard tv. Beside having the 3D tv, you will also need a 3D blu ray disc player, 3D blu ray disc movie and a 3D glasses. Keep in mind that there are only about 40 titles in 3D in the market today and they are mainly animated movies. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on 3D, along with the pro and con of each technology. Hope this will help you out.
