Do a search for LED+projector. They exist, mainly as Pico models (low light output (20-50 lumens) only suitable for 30-50″ images. But there are starting to be a few LED based business and home theater projectors. See the link for a list of LED based projectors. As you can see lamp lifetime is claimed to be much longer (20,000 hrs or longer) than “normal” UHP lamps.
