I am wanting to buy a projector for home use with the PS3 but mainly to deliver presentations – budget £500?

Can anybody tell me what to go for as I haven’t got a clue.

The workshops will be delivered in small & large rooms ranging from 20 to 100 people. I will also be using it with my PS3. I have a small lounge so it needs to be a good short throw projector also.

   You want portability, a good zoom lens (to give flexibility), moderate brightness (1200 lumens or so to allow presentations with some ambient light), minimum 2000:1 contrast ratio (for video), moderate resolution (800×600 or 1024×768) for presentations, but the best you can get for home movie watching (720p or better). It should also preferably have digital input capability (DVI or HDMI), but minimum allow a Component video input via the VGA jack.
