I am looking for a projector but I am not sure what to buy.
What I know is I need it to be 1080p and 16:9.
It has to be LED rather then traditional bulb for light. I am running my house off solar power without enough batteries so low power consumption is important.
The wall space I have to work with is 12′ 6″ wide and 6′ 6″ tall. The projector will be ceiling mounted about 15′ 6″ away from the wall.
It has to be at least 1500 lumens. The high the better.
My max budget is $2000 before the screen.
Real answers only. If I wanted to listen to nonsense I would play Counter-Strike.

Try searching newegg. com. They have anything you could be looking for
LiteBrite is now making a 1080p model that is LED-powered. It uses technology derived from the scoreboard at your high school football field.
If you are worried about power consumption and don’t mind not buying a projector, you can check out the new Laser TV that Mitsubishi just came out with. It is some really amazing technology if you read up on it. www. Mitsubishi-TV. com
1080p for 2k, not going to happen. so with that in mind you should think about mitsu’s new laser tv as posted earlier. the only led projector your going to find does about a 5 ft. picture from about 5. 6 ft away. it costs about $500. 00 but only has 1000 lumens. so go lcd and be happy with that.
